As mothers of young children, Dr. Gisonda and Dr. Bernstein are committed to making sure every child has the most positive dental experience possible. We teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth; but just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun.
We recommend that you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear of dentistry, such as “needle”, “shot”, “pull”, “drill”, or “hurt”. Our office makes a practice of using pleasant words that convey the same message but are less frightening to your child.
